Language barrier. What can I say it is hard sometimes to understand but it is much more hard sometimes to express myself. When I first came to class I could barely understand anyone because of Geordie accent. It was easier with tutors and I absolutely couldn’t understand my classmates. Mostly my language barrier influences my presentation skills. Together with lack of self-confidence they play a very rude joke on me. It is when I am starting to shake inside and words are seems like stuck in my throat. That is leads us to my lack of presentation skills. I know all the rules of good, professional presentation, the step triangle, gestures, mimicry, eye contact, voice confidence, but in such situations, when I just can’t recover a word that I need all this disappear and I am starting to be nervous. But for my opinion if I’ll read a lot, watch movies and talk to native speakers the language barrier will disappear and my presentation skills would be improved as well.
P.S. Cause of this I blew up my branding presentation and it influenced my mark. (
