It just a huge boxes nothing special, no decoration except fire stairs. If Frenchmen didn’t give a Statue of Liberty to new Yorkers as a present there wouldn’t be anything special
to look at. But at last I realized how Spiderman could travel over the city. It is like the stone jungles. I liked Central Park. It was very warm and sunny when we came there. We had a lack of time that is why we spent there only half an hour. We saw the bridge under which Macauley Culkin hided from a robbers in “Home Alone 2”.
New York is one of the best places for advertising business development as it has nothing to see and a huge spaces over skyscrapers to put an advertisement boards there. Good example is Times Square. We were walking at night there but I had a feeling that it was a day because of all the lights from digital advertising boards. We also found this invironmetal protection ad on one of the streets of New York.
Our visits to McCann-Erickson and to DDB impressed me more. First was McCan-Erickson. The agency wasn’t so big but the atmosphere was very creative. We all gathered in the show room where we talked and listen about advertising business in United States with one of the creative guys and then we had a conversation with a girl that manages the employment places about things we should be able to show to get a job there. Also we was shown a compilation o short cuts from a famous series “Mad Man” where the name of McCan Erickson was mentioned. Especially I liked the ceiling. It was covered with fluffy material and it looked like the ceiling was frozen. We talked to a Creative Director and to one of the Graphic designers. Graphic designer was very creative. He invented bag of his own design and tried to sell it to us.)
